Hi this a very rare lovely condition porsche 911 kitcar, as you can see from the pictures this car is very well finished off and gets loads of attention! If you're unfamiliar with these cars i've added a few details that'll explain a little about the car. The project was created by Tim Cook and Nick Vincent in the early `80's (hence the name 'Co' from Cook & 'Vin' from Vincent). Early versions had a shortened Beetle floor pan. The end product was an instant success and incorporated many parts from original Porsches and so looked very authentic. This example was built in 2000 and is a later version which has Covin's own box section chassis and is fitted with a Ford CVH XR3 engine, mated to a Beetle transaxle. The combination works very well and has a feel and sound to it like an original 911. In fact very few people know that 911 replicas exist! Finished in Porsche Guards red with full luxury burgundy leather interior. 16" cross spoke alloys with brand new tyres. 11,500 recorded miles with a recent service and lots of old MOT certs. I believe this car has only had 3 previous owners since its build. The car is fitted with a cat1 cobra immobiliser and alarm. Original turbo bodied 911's are now making circa £30,000. Its even in the Historic Vehicle class so it gets free road tax and the insurance is cheap just over £200! |
