Sylva Striker MK2 1988 - Unfinished Project - Ford Escort MK2 parts

This Sylva Striker MK2 has Ford Escort mechanics and a very basic clubman style body. The engine, gearbox, back axle and modified front struts are from an Mk2 Escort. It has inboard suspension and from research it will handle extremely well.

I purchased the car about a year ago as an unfinished project. I had good intensions of completing the project but however work commitments and space have now become an issue.

When I purchased the car it was kept in a wooden workshop. I was told the car had been stood for 10 years as unfortunately the guy building it had passed away. My thoughts were to lightly strip the car, see that the engine and gearbox were okay and finish assembly. It needs a wiring loom and fit the brakes will require building. After this the work I was going to use it for track days!

In the photos it does not show the dash, windscreen, interior, seat belts, and manifold. I have taken these off of the car and put them into dry storage. These will be supplied with the car once purchased. The reason for this is has had to live outside under a cover for the last few months.

The striker does not currently have a V5.
