Nova kit car project

Hi all,

Some of you may have seen this already in other kit car forum areas, so apologies, but thought it time to move into some 'for sale' areas - after all some of you my not have reallised you want this yet !

It is with regret that I am selling my second Nova project - I bought this with every intention of building another show going Nova earlier in the year. My recent news however is that the 2 of us are becoming 3 !

Realistically this gives me 5 months to finish the house, driveway, bathroom and nursery ! It also calls into question the practicality of having two 2 seater kit cars, and I couldn't bring myself to sell the buggy ! A campervan project later in 2011 may be the way forward, but something needs to leave the garage now to allow me to do the woodworking and painting I need to do.

The rolling project came with:

The turbovec wheels shown in the first pic, still included but on old steels for ease of moving!
An unmarked blue tinted screen (screens are now £350 new)
Side windows in the same blue tint
Sunroof in the same blue tint
TR7 pop up headlights
Mk1 uncut dash and pods
All body panels, including louvres
New unfitted roof rubber seal

And is correctly registered as Nova, with no reference to VW on the V5
There was no interior or engine, or wiring loom , and this cost me £1000 plus shipping

It now also has a new hydraulic roof pump and rams ready to go, wiper motor, and a pair of MX5 seats.(the Mx5 seats fit perfectly and I had these in my last Nova)
I also have an 1800cc pancake air cooled engine with twin carbs, that just needs an oil cooler fitted (I have this) and a breather box.

I am not after a profit on this, just to see it go to a good home - if you think that is you, or you know someone please let me know - It can go as I bought it for the price I paid, or add a few hundered to take the spares.

Someone with VW knowledge could easily get this road legal in a relatively short time. It is based on a pre 73 beetle, and the chassis is solid. There is loads of help and info on the Nova forums http://www.euro-nova.co.uk/forum/index.php, and they can turn out like my lst one:

I paid £1000 for the rolling project with no interior or engine.

It now has a few spares to help you along, and the engine if required. I also have an engine stand with bellhousing to bench test air cooled lumps which could be included if of use?

With everything thrown in I am looking £1500 ovno

This isn't a sale about making money - I will lose money when you consider my transport and petrol costs - I just need to free up the space and see it go to a good home. Based in Worthing West Sussex - nr to A24 or M23, and I know a good local transport company.
