MOTORSPEED MAGIC - Based On Ford Cortina Running Gear

This is a Motorspeed Magic kit car.
It's built using Mark 2 Ford Cortina running gear and engine and was constructed approx 1985. (If anybody is restoring a mark 2 cortina it's probably worth a look too!)

Only a handful of these cars where ever made. The company was taken over by Scorhill and again they only produced a few, so it's not often you see another even when at the kit car shows and rallys. In fact I have been out with lots of kit car owners and we've not seen another one on our travels.

She's by no means perfect, but she runs well and puts a smile on you face when you're out and about and always turns heads.

There are a few marks to the fibre glass body (a couple of spidering marks)
The windscreen has a large crack down the left hand side.
This still passed it's MOT though as we removed the left hand wiper:-)
(I asked the insurance company and they said I was in fact covered for windscreen replacement but havent got round to it. Windscreen replacement does not affect no claims bonus)
Annual insurance is approx £100

Good tyres all round and Magic alloy wheels.
Basically this car has been the best fun I've had on wheels, turns lots of heads and is cheap as chips.

MOT has expired but I can look at getting 12 months put on it for the right offer.
