Dutton Phaeton

Dutton Phaeton with 1600 CVH. The car was rebuilt from scratch last year with a new chassis which was shot blasted then painted in black hammorite paint. During the rebuild custom made mirrored stainless steel sides were fitted which look amazing. Custom made coil over suspension was bought and fitted from Pro Tech Suspension. Also new black Hi-Join Racing Series alloy wheels with Nankang 195/50/R15 Tyres which to date are pretty much brand new.

Seeing as it’s just been rebuilt it’s in very good mechanical order and has just been MOT’d and TAXED so is ready for the summer. It is SORN over the winter as it is stored in a garage all wrapped up away from the cold, but it has now been re-taxed for the summer!!! Selling due to not having enough time to drive it, and looking for another toy to get instead. If looking for an insurance quote for it Adrian Flux are very competitive on these sorts of vehicles!!!

Engine: Ford 1600 CVH, single carb twin choke. Fully serviced before putting away for winter. 4-1 side exit exhaust system (sounds brilliant)

Transmission: Ford type 9 5 Speed gearbox to a ford rear axle

Suspension: Custom made coil over suspension from Pro Tech

Exhaust: 4-1 Side exit (see pictures)

Interior: Bucket seats, push button start, radio with cd, USB, and Ipod input, 4 Point harness, carpeted centre and floor pan.

Bodywork: The car is in overall very good condition, there are a few very small cracks in the shell but it’s what you expect of a car of this age. The paintwork does shine up a treat though as you can see from the pictures. When the sun is shining the car really does look well.

Wheels/Brakes: Hi-Join Racing Series black alloys with Nankang Ultra Sport NS-II 195/50/R15 Tyres. The brakes are standard Ford brakes.

Overall, this is a well looked-after and reliable car, ready for immediate fun without any work needing doing. Viewing is possible via appointment and I guarantee first to see will buy as it is a cracking little car, very fast and sounds great. Cash on collection only, and please no tyre kickers!!
