Well the time has come to part from the Westfield for a little while. It has been tremendous fun but its time to let someone eles enjoy her. genuine reason for sale, job redundancy forces sale :-( i am hoping to get another when i can!

It was my first Westy and all i ever wanted from a car really, good on the insurance (130 f/c, 5K mls) and rapid enough for me......sounds great too at 7500rpm

I have a big folder full of history, from 1989 from the date of order/ purchase too present day of any work and parts replaced or purchased, including engine receipt from RAW.

This car has been changed and had many upgrades throughout the years, looking at the receipts it was fully rebuilt with new parts, engine, seats, dash, paint job, electronic ignition + much more around the years 2002- 2005, thats why looking at the pics it looks a modern westy.

Update 21/11/11= I went for a drive today in the car, taking advantage of the dry, sunny weather. I had no issues with starting the car, started every time when the engine was warm, sensor may have intermet fault.
The car may need the crank sensor replaced or looking at, always starts first time when cold but when warm sometimes struggles to start, never realy been a problem either found the knack to start it or had a push, or let it cool down. This only started to occur a couple months back, before no issues at all. I was going to get this done come spring next year when i was preparing it back for the roads of spring/ summer, but I'm now forced to sell due to job loss. The sensor is easy accessable and can be done yourself, you can order the part from Toyota, Just to note the car drives and runs perfect, just a starting issue when warm, I have had the ignition map looked at on the rolling road recently and everything is normal running .

0-60mph time is around 6 seconds

Total mileage- 17,100, Toyota engine has only done 11,100. all paperwork is present to show this.

Narrow bodied- i am 5ft/10 and fit in this no problem, with still room to move around, thanks to the floor mounted pedals.

Rear number plate is a show plate, i do not have a legal orange plate to fit, never had any problems.

Other info

Total Mileage is 17,000 from new 1989, current mileage displayed is 11,100 which is when new toyota engine was fitted, all paperwork and prevous MOTS are present to show this.

Overall the car is in very good condition for an '89 model. The bodywork has been repaired in the past where it use to have a Ford pinto Engine so under some light conditions you can see the exhaust exit repair and also where the carb intake was on top of the bonnet. Apart from that the bodywork is in decent shape.

the car is sorn from december 2011, tax ends november 2011, MOT is till 31/05/12

Overall i think it is a great car with a good spec at a very honest price and i'll be gutted to see her go as we have had a blast!
