MNR Vortx 2012, ZX10R engine

Sadly, I am selling my amazing ZX10R bike powered Kit car due to moving home.

This is an epic example of beauty, adrenaline, and driving experience.

This is a 2009 MNR factory built Vortx, running a 2006 -2007 ZX10R Kawasaki engine. MOT till Oct 2023.

WOW, what do I say. Something that I have always wanted to own and so glad I have. The bike engine gives such a buzz with the noise and the sheer power. This car goes for 0 to 60 before you can blink, and the driving experience is unreal. You can sit back enjoy the drive at 40 with the sun on your face and wind in your hair and then seconds later your cheeks flapping in the wind and you are pushed into the back of your seat flicking through the gears without letting off the throttle.

Cockpit

Full leather race seats on rails for adjusting with 4-point harnesses. Full working lights interior and exterior. Bike digital speedo that has a calibrator which has been set to google maps so is very accurate. 1 down and 5 up paddle gearbox with a gear indicator and neutral light. She has a full reverse box from MNR so it flips the gear ratio around and would run all 6 gears backwards. Full MNR roll cage that was factory fitted. This operates on a key ignition and engine start button with a fuel line cut off.

Bodywork

The car has Gel coated bodywork. The paintwork is in very good condition with age related marks and stone chips. Rear spoiler, OMP detachable steering wheel. Fully fitted out with LED lights, and rear diffusor underneath. Great condition wheels with 4 x R888r Toyo tyres. (I have never had a car stick to the road this much.) Drilled and grooved discs front and rear, Protech suspension and a Limited Slip Diff.

Engine

2006 – 2007 ZX10R (180 bhp), 6100 miles, it has a power commander with custom map done on a dyno. Flatshifter expert quick shift system with paddles attached to this beauty. The power band is set around 7000 revs so you can drive it nice around town then when you want to open her up she revs beautifully. The engine does most of the braking for you to so feels amazing on country roads. The engine was fitted by the factory so has full engine supports in place. 70mm alloy radiator with switch-controlled fan. Battery safety cut off fitted. Billet aluminium sump, recently new battery and silicone hoses.
